Yeah. This time we're going to sprint, and then rest a while before continuing. That's how you should do it if you decide to do this on your own, too.

[ There is a note on pink stationary addressed to him, with a gold star attached. There is also the drawing of a stick figure with a cape next to it. The note itself reads:

Thank you so much for the hair clips and the bracelet! The hair clips were super cute!! I definitely plan to wear the bracelet with care — it's so pretty, I don't want it ruined! You also flatter me by calling me a Hero — I have a ways to go, but thanks.

[ He should really get used to Ion saying things like that. Right now, though, it's time to continue their work. Tyr walks along right beside them until they take their respective lanes. ]

I'll let you set the pace. Stop when you feel like you've had it.

[ He might not be sick anymore, but Tyr isn't going to push him too hard when he doesn't even know Ion's current limits. ]

Dear Ion, I'm glad to hear from you. To be quite honest, I've been wondering where have you gone. You seem to have disappeared, I believe? Aside from that, I agree that we must spend some time together before the summer ends. I'm quite enjoying the weather and the change of scenery as of late. It's something I'm used to, but I can say that I prefer being warm. It looks to be harmless, but I'm still suspicious of the Lessor's motives in this game. I guess we'll have to see how it plays out. Okay.

[He goes so far as to even nod to himself. Take a deep breath and out-- time to start running. He's running! But, wait, what's the difference between a jog and a sprint?]

[ O-oh, he didn't expect this to be an issue. Tyr runs after him, calling: ]

Watch your form!

[fontastically]

[He slows a bit, glancing over his shoulder, to show that he hears Tyr. Then he tries to kind of...take big steps?!]

[third_liberator]

[ Ion... Tyr gives him a half smile and comes up along side him. ]

Here, watch me...

[ Starting to show him...! ]

[He makes sure to at least keep moving as he feels that was the point of the training but would watch Tyr. Ion does end up sprinting properly, however, with Tyr showing him, and tries to catch up quickly.]

[ Thankfully Tyr didn't plan to dash away from him like a dog without a leash, and he soon slowed and turned around to see how Ion was doing. ]

There you go. You're not doing bad.

[At least he understands the basics of that. So he'll keep going! Only, the pace is kind of sort of slow. For the sake of...not getting tired out too quickly!]

[ While Tyr's not even sure if that's his limit. Maybe you're just slow, Ion. Still, he'll remind him: ]

Remember to go as hard as you can. We'll rest for a while after that..

Ah, yes!

[Time to sprint faster, then! Really! He's actually putting it all in, now even though it can't get him qualified for a track team or anything.]

Great!

[ Tyr keeps running alongside him. He's not too great, but it's enough that he's trying. ]

[fontastically]

[He really is trying his hardest just as asked of him! Only, that only lasts for so long. Ion ends up slowing to a tragic stop with his hands on his knees.]

[third_liberator]

[ That wasn't too bad. When Ion leans over, Tyr gives his shoulder a gentle pat. ]

All right, let's take a break now...

[He looks up at Tyr, barely nodding, and then chooses to just sit himself on the track.]

[third_liberator]

[ He really tired himself out. Next time, he'll try to stop before it's quite this bad. Once Ion sit's down, Tyr starts rubbing his back a little. Not saying anything until Ion catches his breath. ]

[Maybe he has failed even with trying. He looks up when he feels he hasn't totally been left in the dust. Ion sits himself up after a moment.]

What should be done next?

[third_liberator]

[ He pats Ion's back one more time before pulling his hand back. ]

Fifteen minute break so you can recover your energy.

Is that the best amount of time for a break?

[Ion hadn't even been running for fifteen minutes.]

[third_liberator]

You're supposed to rest over twice as long as you were running. Fifteen minutes isn't a rule, but it's a good time in this case...

I'll make sure to remember that. Meaning I've only ran for seven and a half minutes.

[Time to sigh.]

I imagine you must normally go on for longer.
