[Upon arrival to the fountains, Ion will do just as asked of him and take a drink. He'd wipe his mouth with the back of his hand once he's done and take a few steps back.]

I never asked how driving is going for you.

...It's not going too badly. There's less to it than I thought...but the maintenance is what's really hard to keep track of.

Maybe if you wrote it down that would help you keep everything together.

I know you never mentioned it in relation to my training but what do you use the large sized ball for?

[They can do that. Ion will make sure to sit down on his legs though not leaning against the wall too much.]

You haven't used it before, then? I wonder if any books at the library could shed some light on it. Did these things just happen to be here when you started to work?

There might be. If there are, I should read about them in case anyone asks about them again... I didn't actually buy or collect any of the equipment here. I just gathered the practice weapons from the storage room before I started any classes.

I will admit, I wasn't expecting to see any of this equipment as you said you did training with concerning your staff. But I imagine there are different things to learn up until that point.

[It doesn't help to be so narrow minded.]

There are. Using a staff is just part of it... I don't really use most of this equipment either, though. [ Mostly because he has no idea how to. ] I usually come here just for the weights, but having a track and water available is pretty convenient.

I imagined as such. You did make mention of muscles before.

Does anyone else work here? Maybe they left these things for their own use in the storage room.

...There's my boss, but I haven't see anyone else working here... Those weapons were probably used for the events that were held here before I started...

Captain Murasa—the same one that was captain while we were on that ship together...

So you knew of her beforehand. Being on the boat was the first time I've ever spoken with her but before that she had personally given me that task.

[ While Tyr has a high opinion of Ion, he's still surprised to hear that. ]

That's right. I'm not quite sure how she knew to trust me. It may have been a mind of guessing.

Maybe she's just perceptive. She can be easygoing, but she's experienced, too...

I'd believe that. She does have a very reliable employee, after all.

Yeah. This time we're going to sprint, and then rest a while before continuing. That's how you should do it if you decide to do this on your own, too.

You seem to handle things well around here so her choice wasn't a bad one with either way you look at it.

[ He should really get used to Ion saying things like that. Right now, though, it's time to continue their work. Tyr walks along right beside them until they take their respective lanes. ]

I'll let you set the pace. Stop when you feel like you've had it.

[ He might not be sick anymore, but Tyr isn't going to push him too hard when he doesn't even know Ion's current limits. ]

[He goes so far as to even nod to himself. Take a deep breath and out-- time to start running. He's running! But, wait, what's the difference between a jog and a sprint?]
