[ He pushes himself up on his knees and walks over to grab his staff again. ]

Are you comfortable in what you're in now?

Yes.

[That cues Ion to stand as well. Endurance training. A serious matter but he's smiling for the time being. He's actually going to take part.]

What's in mind for the training, if you don't mind me asking?

[ Tyr's happy that he's still smiling. Hopefully this won't be too hard on him... ]

I was thinking of trying a few things... We can start with something easy for you to start with so you can try on your own at home, too.

Thank you, Tyr. It would be helpful to have something for me to work on when we aren't together. Do you want to go to your work place?

[Not that he minds, either way, he is just realising he has left so many details to the other with suddenly saying 'as soon as possible.']

[ Even if it's a little sudden, Tyr had been thinking of this for a while, trying to determine what would be best for Ion's needs. It's been well over a month; Tyr has had plenty of time to mentally prepare. ]

Yeah, let's go there. Until you get a little more comfortable, it might be best to go there to train...

[ Having mats and a track and such for him to use. In any case, heading out now! ]

[Yes, out they go! Ion will make sure that Tyr takes a bit of the lead. He has yet to actually been inside the colosseum so he's looking forward to that. But the route to at least get to it is something he remembers fairly enough with being out a little more as of lately. And it's not something that is easy to miss, either.]

[ Tyr doesn't mind a comfortable silence between them as they walk, and when they arrive at the Colosseum, Tyr casually skips out on the more direct-seeming route to take the more unassuming side entrance through instead. It'll be a peaceful walk. ]

[This is rather unassuming. Well, this is Tyr's workplace so he isn't going to be left in shock for too long upon their arrival.]

I'm glad that I get to be here.

I'm glad that you decided to do this... It should at least help with your job...

[ And they end up in a nice, well-lit room with modern exercise equipment on the floor in addition to weights, mats, benches, and balls. Definitely not the place Tyr usually teaches bojutsu. Not that Ion would know that one way or the other.

It's also pretty empty, so Tyr takes the liberty of setting his bag and staff against the wall. ]

So how do you want to start? Do you want to run or do you want to do something more static?

[At this point he really isn't aware of the difference but it doesn't have him any less impressed. There are quite a few different things to do in here. And he does have to wonder about the balls. They're surely multipurpose or something of the sort, right? Ion only supposes he has the time to ask later as that isn't featured in the current objective...or is it?]

I wouldn't mind running.

[ Tyr doesn't intend to do anything with the balls today, so unless Ion asks, Tyr has no reason to address them. Hearing Ion's answer, Tyr just gives a quick nod. ]

All right. Then we'll start with a jog to get warmed up and then have a sprint.

[ Considering there's a track around the exercise area itself, Tyr takes one of the outer rings and stands there waiting for Ion to join him. ]

Let's go.

[They aren't important so he's going to simply ask later. He is going to give his attention to what he really needs to get done here and is quick to join the other at the particular ring.]

You're going to run with me?

[ He nods easily. It's probably not necessary, but Tyr's neither lazy nor willing to just watch Ion run around. ]

I'll keep pace with you, so don't worry.

[ Aaaand time for a light jog in place of other kinds of stretching. ]

[It does count for something that he isn't necessarily doing this alone. Not that he is with being in need of the help to begin with. Aaaaand a light jog! Things are going fine as it's the beginning. No sweat.]

[ Tyr hopes they'll be okay for a while. He's keeping this nice and slow. It is just a warm up, after all. It wouldn't do Ion any good to get tired out at this stage.

Of course, it's also pretty boring to do this in silence. ]

How have your summer plans been panning out so far?

[Something as doing two things at once. Ion glances over at Tyr.]

When it comes to terms of doing things that I haven't before, I suppose the boat is somewhat accountable. I actually fished.

[ The boat sure was something. Tyr's smile faces slightly with the memory, feeling just a little uncomfortable. ]

Ah, right, we were told to do that too... Did you catch anything?

[fontastically]

I did catch a small fish.

[But he will make sure to change the subject.]

Horohoro did his best to teach me how to swim but I think it was difficult for the both of us.

[ A small fish is better than nothing considering what they were stuck with...

But now he looks over at Ion. ]

"Difficult" how?

[fontastically]

We had went out to the beach which may not have been the best setting.

[And now he's...sort of slowing down a bit.]

[ ...And with Ion slowing down, he puts a hand to the back of his arm to start leading him off the track. ]

Maybe not... You have a lot more to worry about out on a beach...

[ Like riptides and sudden drop offs. ]

[And Ion will start kind of jogging off the track, apparently.]

Tyr, where are we going?

Water.

[ And Tyr is actually quite impressed that Ion didn't just come to a complete stop. Even if Ion probably didn't know he should do that.

In any case, "water" becomes a slightly less vague answer as he leads them over to the water fountains. ]

[He isn't going to stop as it's not like he can get anywhere that way.]

I'm sorry, I'm not too impressive in this area to begin with.

[ That's also true. ]

That's not really anything you could help until now... Anyway, just have a drink and relax for a while, then we'll start again.
